In 2023, we were honored to collaborate with the Museum of Serbian Orthodox Church, home to the largest collection of manuscripts and sacred objects in Serbia and the former Yugoslavian countries. Our mission was to design a catalogue that would narrate the rich history of the Serbian Church, spanning over eight centuries, in a visually compelling and captivating manner.
To achieve this, we produced over 100 high-quality photographs using state-of-the-art medium format cameras. These images capture the essence of the artifacts, set against vibrant backgrounds inspired by the colors of medieval fresco paintings found in the churches where these objects were originally housed.

The endpaper pattern was inspired by the star motif found on the Shroud of King Milutin, a key 14th-century artifact from the Museum of Serbian Orthodox Church. This remarkable piece has been exhibited at prestigious institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Louvre.
The star motif from the shroud is a recurring element throughout the book, influencing both the typography and the icons used in the design.
